This insert was redesigned from the ground up to give the Milwaukee M12 Soldering Iron a proper home in the Packout Compact Organiser (48-22-8435). Beyond holding the iron itself, it organises your solder, your tip cleaners, your tweezers, your spare tips — every consumable a soldering kit actually needs.

The custom cradle holds the 2488-20 soldering iron securely. Two hidden compartments sit beneath the cradle for solder, flux, and tip cleaners — out of sight, always with the tool. Two modular trays drop into the layout for spare components, extra solder reels, or whatever your workflow needs. Vertical compartments hold tall items upright — tweezers, wire spools, tip brushes — so they're not rolling loose in the case.

Every kit includes a 3D printed handle label that clips into the existing handle slot on your Compact Organiser, marked "M12 Soldering Iron." When you've got a stack of Packouts in the ute, you'll know exactly which one is your soldering kit at a glance.

The main insert is printed as a single continuous piece on industrial Bambu Lab H2D/H2S machines, in tough PETG that shrugs off Australian summer heat where cheaper PLA inserts warp and sag.
